Kids come first! And what little boy wouldn't love this SUPERMAN room?
Take the clues from this photo about how to paint and decorate the walls. Cute wood wall panels painted white on the bottom with a red stripe above that and Superman blue on the top half of walls. Personally, this is not like me, but I think this room could have been all white. The bed and bedding would stand out much more making it the clear focal point - which it should be! Why not get a fabulous coloured glass bowl to go with your colourful glassware! Even without coloured goblets, if your dishes have a bit of this colour in them, this will look wonderful as a serving dish on your table. I say try out coloured glass - I have lots of it and I love it - once you go to colored glass, you may not go back to clear ever again! Some say "It's hip to be square". I believe it! These dishes are fantastic. The square shape is sooooo unique. Even though squares are one of the most basic shapes in our lives, they just haven't been used in the design of dishes or cutlery very often...and especially not everyday dishes or cutlery. Well, I guess times are a changin! Square kitchens are here and I love them. What a nice break from the ordinary - and a great INEXPENSIVE way to update a kitchen! They come in either real wood (which is the nicest, of course) or fake wood, which is much less expensive and has a faux wood finish on it. The real wood blinds are more expensive than the faux wood ones - of course - but, they do look and feel much nicer. However, if you are renting, not going to be in your house long or are on a tighter budget, and want the wood look, you may want to consider using the faux wood vertical blinds. Unless someone looks really close, or perhaps they are a designer, most people won't notice the difference!
How about some SILK side panels for your wooden blinds?
Leave the blinds without drapes for a clean, modern and more casual look. Add
these SILK drapery panels to add elegance, style, and class. Perfect for a
bedroom, dining room or living room! The fuller the panels, the more rich and
formal your room will appear. This has to be one mistake people make too often
- not having panels large enough for their windows. Make sure you are buying
the correct size panels for your windows - and please, make sure they are long
enough. The panels should be 1/2"-1" above the ground - NO HIGHER
PLEASE! Otherwise, it will appear as if you did not buy enough fabric...not
good. And if you plan to buy SILK, please make sure you get your bang for your
buck. You wouldn't want to spend a lot of money for silk and have it look just
OK. Make it look like it should absolutely GORGEOUS and totally LUXURIOUS!
Need some beautiful accessory vases - ones as beautiful as
this look fabulous on their own... This vase would fit into almost any decorating scheme - from
modern to classic. It's clean, straight styling lends itself to a
modern/contemporary look easily. The etching is also quite modern in its
simplicity. However, clear glass of any kind with some decorative etching
remains a traditional style of vase. If you want to add some flowers to it, how about these roses - they are always enough to brighten a room and the people in it!  And if I may suggest, don't wait for someone to buy them for you - buy them for yourself - you deserve it, don't you? Of course you do. And remember, you don't even have to leave home - nowadays, there are so many online florists, you can order them online and they will arrive within a few days. Just a little tip for those people hesitant to buy flowers for themselves...if people are wondering what to get you for a gift, tell them to get you a yearly floral club membership. So, every month, you will receive a bouquet of wonderful fresh flowers, right to your door! What an absolutely fabulous gift that would be! If you already have everything, tell them about this. It is one of those gifts that you probably wouldn't do for yourself but, it is perfect for someone else to get for you!
