Doors don't have to be just for closing off a space anymore...why not make them into a piece of art? A door makes a great canvas for the budding artist in you...

Here are some examples that may help you get inspired.

Make your doors an art statement...people will forget that they are actually functioning doors.

I am not only the Designer/Decorator of this Door Art, but I have done all of the work too. Unlike some Interior Designers, I actually do most of my own work. These examples are no exception. They were all designed, developed and painted by me, Shelly Whitney.

Standard sliding closet doors made to resemble riveted metal

This is actually a folding bi-fold door...but you cannot tell, can you? The art has been incorporated into the design so that the fold line in the middle becomes invisible.
